Do you know what it means to be a good digital citizen?
A digital citizen is one who navigates the internet and utilizes its resources. We are all digital citizens because we are all a part of the digital world.
Digital citizenship can be defined as a digital citizen who acts responsibly with regard to technology use.
Digital citizenship can be defined as a digital citizen who acts responsibly with regard to technology use.
We are using technology every day in our classroom. I require all of you to log onto your mobile devices to access my Flipped Classroom tutorials on our class website. Now that I have all of you in the habit of logging onto our class website, I need to teach you the importance of digital citizenship.
I created this website as an instructional tool that I will use to train you on the appropriate technology use in our classroom. To do this, I will take you step by step through all of the various areas of digital citizenship by providing you with many resources and activities to help you become great digital citizens.
The best teacher is one who models, so I will also model for you the standards that I expect you to follow in my classroom. I am making digital citizenship a priority my the art classroom!
Our 3 Essential Questions will be:
1. "Do you understand your Rights and Responsibilities as a Digital Citizen?"
2. "Do you have Digital Access to all of the assistive technologies available to you?
3. "Do you understand and use appropriate Digital Etiquette and Social Interaction when using technology?"
